#1 HOPE IN GOD

In Psalm 42:5 the troubled psalmist is engaging in self-talk. “Why am I depressed and troubled, O my soul? Why am anxious and upset? I will HOPE IN GOD, I will Praise Him no matter what, because that’s where I’ll find my help.”

Praise is your spiritual weapon. It can defeat the spirits of fear, anxiety and depression. No matter how great the challenge, start praising and thanking God for peace, inner strength and victory. Whatever you’re going through, always HOPE IN GOD! Read and speak the Word of God out loud. Sing and praise God for His faithfulness.

PRAYER: Lord God, you are the one who lifts me out of depression and fills my heart with renewed hope. I ask you to give me your peace that passes all understanding. Put a song in my heart that will drown out my troubled thoughts and anxieties. Give me your wisdom and guidance that will help me overcome every challenge that I face. Replace my weakness with your strength and my despair with new hope from on high. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Let us hold firmly to the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. Hebrews 10:23

#2 Life On Lockdown

Proverbs 13:12 - Hope delayed makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.

Living your life on lockdown can result in physical and emotional suffering. But hidden in every negative circumstance, there are always positives that will reveal God’s purpose.

While on lockdown, the Apostle Paul wrote his greatest New Testament letters, “The Prison Epistles.”

While on lockdown, Dr. Martin Luther King wrote the famous, “Letters From A Birmingham Jail.”

While your life is on lockdown, I challenge you to perform

4 important tasks.

RE-EXAMINE  your priorities and seek God’s purpose in prayer.

Review your priorities. Determine if you need to reorganized your life and revisit God’s purpose for your life (2 Corinthians 13:5).

RE-INVENT yourself by digging up your untapped resources, gifts and talents. You must put age, gender, race and qualifications aside. Pray for knowledge of witty inventions to manifest in your life

(Proverbs 8:12 KJV) (2 Timothy 1:6).

REPENT of any ungodly practices that may be blocking your blessings. Write your confession. God will forgive you but you must also forgive yourself.  The one who covers their sins cannot prosper (Proverbs 28:13)

(1 John 1:9).

REJOICE  in the Lord always. As the praises go up, the power comes down. Don’t allow yourself to become a prisoner of depression and fear. Praise and prayer will set you free (Psalm 103:2-4).

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, we ask you to show us how to make the best use of our time and talents in a world that is filled with chaos. With so many restrictions and inconveniences, help us see your will, your plan and your purpose for ourselves and our family. Move on us in such a way that we feel energized and compelled to do all we can, while we can, to bring honor and glory to your name. Help us to give you more praise and less complaints. Help us to always be hopeful and never hopeless. Give us the strength to rise above the traps and pitfalls of this world. Protect us, Lord from negative incidents, accidents, plagues, pandemics and poverty. Let our healing, deliverance and salvation in Jesus Christ become fully manifested in our lives. In His Name we pray,  AMEN.

PRAYER WALK

When you said, "seek my face," My heart said, "LORD, your face will I seek."  Psalm 27:8

I have become aware of the following facts:

I turn on the TV when I need a mental break from work.

I turn on the TV when my emotions get the best of me.

I turn on the TV when Charles is not home the house gets too quiet.

Now that I see the pattern I'm determined to get back on track with God. I need to hear from heaven - not from confused and misguided people.

SO I'M BACK TO TAKING LONG WALKS ON THE CHILLY BEACH - TALKING TO JESUS, MY FRIEND AND MY LIFEGUARD.

I encourage you to turn off the TV and "take a prayer walk."

moving to a

higher dimension

‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and

mighty things, which you do not know.’

Jeremiah 33:3

The 1st, 2nd and 3rd DIMENSIONS are used in math and science to measure the size, space, length, width and distance of the universe we live in. The 4th dimension is used to measure time - as in, a time to live and and time to die, etc. But there is another dimension that defies time and space. It is often referred to as the 5TH DIMENSION.

This is the place that takes us beyond time and space. It defies the physical senses. We enter the 5th dimension not by what we can see, hear or touch,  but by the SPIRIT OF GOD.

We find this place when we seek God's face in prayer, worship and meditating on his Word. God invites you to step outside of time and space to experience the eternal realm. The Apostle Paul wrote in 2 Corin. 12:21 I was caught up to the third heaven fourteen years ago. Whether I was in my body or out of my body, I don't know--only God knows.

Paul experienced a type of 5th dimension. As we step away from the noise and busyness of life and commune with God, we too can dream new dreams, see new visions and embrace new revelations.

In order to reach the 5th dimension you must be willing to separate yourself from the 4 dimensions of time and space. God wants to show you so much more than what you can see with your eyes. But you must be willing to take the leap of faith. It will allow you to embrace new direction, new purpose and new power.

FAITH  LEAP

SO WHAT'S THE HOLD UP?  TOO YOUNG?  TOO OLD? TOO BROKE? TOO MANY RESPONSIBILITIES? TOO MANY OBSTACLES?

Years ago my 10 year old daughter and my nephew had to dive off of a diving board to earn their swimming certificates. When fear caused my nephew to hesitate, my daughter gave him a quick push and seconds later he hit the water. He received his certificate with a big smile on his face. Sometimes, we need a little push before we find the courage to take a leap of faith. SO HERE'S YOUR PUSH: If you draw back in fear, you will never fulfilling your purpose and never realizing your dream. You will stand on the sidelines and watch someone else carry out the vision God gave to you. But, if you take the leap of faith, you might end up with scars, breaks and bruises, but you'll feel more fulfilled and alive than ever. Why? Because you gave it your all. And that's what real success is all about.

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

ENDURANCE

For you need ENDURANCE so that, having done the will of God you might receive the promise.  Hebrews 10:36

SO WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO ENDURE?

1. To go the distance and refuse to give up.

2. To remain committed in the face of difficulty.

3. TO SUFFER - BUT NEVER SURRENDER!

In order to build your ENDURANCE you must train your mind, body and spirit with the same passion of an athlete.  See your failure and mistakes as part of your training. The greatest of athletes fail before they finally succeed.

Don't allow what people have to say about you to shape your destiny, self-image or your God-image. Psalm 139:14 says: I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

Be 'forward thinking.' Let go of the weight of past mistakes and set your sights on the prize and sur-prize that God has in store for you.The Apostle Paul wrote in Philippians 3:13, Forgetting the past and reaching for the goal...to the prize of the high-calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Talk yourself into going the next mile:  I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13.

SOON YOU'LL BE AT THE FINISH LINE!
